Bebo’s upcoming movie list is soon depleting, guess that’s why this Bollywood’s once hot property is now turning to item songs
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s once glorious innings in Bollywood is soon losing its sheen. The actor who was one of the busiest babes in the industry is spotted launching books and sipping green tea at promotional events, clearly showing that she’s out of action. But guess what Bebo is still hot property at least as far as item songs are concerned. The actor who once took time off her packed schedule to shoot the sexyFevicol song for Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2, will now use her free time to roll a groovy number for Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar.
After doling a hot song for Sallu miyaan in Dabangg sequel, she will now groove with her Kambakkht Ishq hero. Interestingly Kareena will do this “special” song (item song), in a film produced by none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Remember, KKK had missed out on SLB’s Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, thanks to her changed relationship status. It seems like desperate Kareena is willing to do item songs just to impress Bhansali and bag a plum role in his upcoming film. We cannot forget how Ms Kapoor Khanhad said at a recent event, “I am very keen to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali!”
And for Kareena who has been averse to the idea of item girls and songs, we’re sure that dearth of acting assignments means to shift to the next popular category of item songs, hai na? At least the oh-so-hot Bebo can flaunt her sexy moves and good looks here, unlike those boring book launch events, yaaaa…wn! Especially with Salman walking out of Gabbar special song, Kareena can finally take the centre stage with this song, right?
While Kareena isn’t the only heroine who is doing item songs, we know that Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have sizzled in some superrr sexy gaanas. But, now that all these actors have their dates booked, we hope Kareena who is losing out on films to her competition can make moolah and remain in the limelight thanks to item songs.
