Kapil Sharma to cut down his comedy show for movie career

Kapil", is set to embark on a movie career and he says the show would have to revert to its one-episode-per-week format due to time constraint.

Kapil will make his film debut with Yash Raj Films' (YRF) "Bank-Chor", which will go on floors in April.

"By now, somehow managing my schedules has become a habit for me. I am talking to you early in the morning after having worked on my show for 36 hours. Doing two episodes every week means I've to provide at least 70 minutes of content every week.

"It's not easy to think up funny gags every 10 seconds. We can't afford to let our audience get bored for even a few moments," said Kapil.

Given the time constraints, he says he has to cut down his television show by half.

"I've no choice but to do this. The channel Colors doesn't want me to do the show only once a week. But for the sake of the film, I've no choice but to cut down my television show by half," said the comedian, who has waited a very long time to do a movie.

"I didn't want to just carry over my 'Comedy Nights' image into my movie career. When I heard the script of 'Bank Chor', I was completely taken up. It allows me room not only for comic scenes, but there is also an element of seriousness in the story," he said.

Directed by Bumpy, the film unfolds the story of three people who pick a wrong day to rob a bank. What happens when the trio is caught in a crossfire of cops, industrialists and corrupt politicians, forms the rest of the story.

"It's basically the story of the guys. So, the male casting is being done first. I am happy that I'd be making my film debut with Yashraj Films. I grew up watching their films. I never dreamt I'd be part of a Yashraj film one day," he said.

I hung up the phone and ran into the other room.Humming my favourite tune,I searched for my husband to tell about it.He is found no where,must have went to the hospital.He is on call duty these days.

I just spoke to my best friend on phone who is in India.We were friends from school.We got selected in same medical college and are very close.After getting married,I moved to Saudi with my husband and it’s been almost six years we went to India.Next week we planned to go to India.

I was more excited to meet my friend than my family.My friend,smitha  is a mother of a four year-old girl.

Then the next week as we planned,we landed in India.In the taxi I was thinking all the way from the air-port to my house about her.

She took a decision  six years back to marry our class-mate.I am happy for them,but her parents were not.We tried to convince her parents.They waited for many months for convincing her parents.But they didn’t agree.Both of them married against her parent’s will.Just few days after that I moved to Saudi and not in touch with her regularly.

My husband shook me and said,’we’ve reached,come back to the normal world’, I was lost in my thoughts.My parents and my cousins every one was so happy to see us, I miss them a lot.

Two days later,I planned to meet smitha in a hotel,the same place where we used to hang out years ago.I went early,I was so excited and started biting my nails.I waited there for almost half-an-hour and then I heard a voice “didn’t u stop biting your nails?,”

I was so surprised to listen that,that is what smitha used to say always!but the voice!I turned around to see;To my surprise it is a small girl looking just like smitha.I smiled and searched for her.Smitha is in the corner smiling at me.She is the same happy girl as always.

We talked about every thing for almost 4 hours sitting there.Her baby is sleeping.

“How is Ram?”,I asked.Smitha replied,”fine”, There is no light in her eyes,something is wrong which I am unable to find out.

Then just before leaving she gave me a small gift and asked me to open after she left.I took it and I am excited to open it.She left first.I sat there for some more minutes and opened the gift.The box was empty with a letter and a pass-port of her daughter.Surprised,I opened the letter and started to read.

Dear priya,

I took the wrong step.Ram left me two years ago.He is not the person we thought of.He is a drunkard and harassed me for money,beat me many times.I am very much depressed.My parents don’t know anything about my life.I never saw them after my marriage.I have no where to go.”My hands trembled,I am sweating,my heart beat  raised and I rushed outside to find her. Not very far from where I stood,I saw a huge crowd and ambulance.I ran madly,  and  saw ‘my friend’s  body drenched in blood’ taken in side the ambulance.My mind stopped working,everything is blank………………then I saw the cry of a girl from my left side,smitha’s daughter.I took her into my arms and cried with her.

After,post-mortem,I returned to the hotel to collect my bag and the letter was lying in the same place on the ground.I continued reading,

“I don’t know what to do.I know only you.Here is my daughter’s pass-port,take her with you and raise as your daughter.Bye my dear,forgive me.”I wiped my tears and decided to take her daughter,as god’s gift to me(I can’t get pregnant.).

The next week I left India with the god’s given daughter with me.

First look: Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Tevar’ in item song ‘Radha Nachegi’

‘Dabangg’ actress Sonakshi Sinha, who was last seen in last year’s hit film ‘R… Rajkumar’, is currently shooting for her new movie ‘Tevar’ opposite Arjun Kapoor.And the actress shared a few pictures of hers on Instagram from the movie’s sets while shooting for a high-energy item song ‘Music bajega loud toh Radha nachegi’.The actress, who is looking pretty in an off white lehenga choli, shows off her dance moves in the song that had been choreographed by Remo D’Souza.According to reports, the song has been made a cost of whopping Rs 2.5 crores and apparently, Sonakshi’s costume alone costs a mind blowing Rs. 75 lakh.

Sonakshi, who will also be seen in ‘Holiday’, ‘Action Jackson’ this year, has been tweeting a lot about her shoot’s progress.

“First shot at 6 am… Eeeeps. Mornings cm in 3 sizes #early #too early,” she had tweeted.

Tevar will have Arjun Kapoor playing the role of a kabaddi player and the film’s shoot in currently underway in Uttar Pradesh. ‘Tevar’ is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Okkadu’.

The film, which is being produced by Arjun Kapoor’s father Boney Kapoor, is being directed by debutante Amit Sharma.

If sources are to be believed, Both Nargis and Freida answered KJo’s ‘sex queries’ very frankly. He said,“Nargis revealed that in Spanish, her name meant ‘butt cheeks’. Freida said that in Brazilian or Portuguese, Pinto meant ‘penis’. As far as the chat show goes, this is the boldest episode as the two girls were no-holds-barred.”

So usually, the episode’s repeat telecast will be however edited. “Due to the need for adult content to be censored, in keeping with television standards, the repeats will be of shorter duration,” the source added.

Mallika Sherawat was kicked out of an international project

Rumours have it that the Murder actor, Mallika Sherawat got herself kicked out from an international project, ‘A Little Heaven In Me’ all because of her tantrums. A little birdie informs us that the makers were upset with Mallika’s unprofessional behavior as well.

The film will be produced by a US based company Bibia Films and will be directed by Indo-Canadian director Keshhav Panneriy. Talking to a leading daily the director confirmed, “She was the producer’s first choice, but due to her lack of cooperation and her unprofessional approach, we decided to replace her.” The director also informed that model Pragya Jaiswal had been finalised for the film after Mallika’s exit. The director is more than happy at her exit and informed the daily, “She (Mallika) is perceived as a provocative and bold woman, and this real-life persona is drastically different from the character we wanted her to play.”

Isn;t it high time that Mallika starts behaving herself. After all we heard similar news about her during the shooting of The Bachelorette India as well. Wake up Mallika!
