Salman Khan to don villain's cap in Dhoom 4

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan may have a big surprise up his sleeve as he may be donning the bad boy's cap for the fourth franchise of the blockbuster 'Dhoom' series.

After breaking all records at the box-office, Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3' was definitely one of the highlights of 2013. Now the latest news doing the rounds is that Aamir's buddy Salman may be roped in to play the part of a villain in the fourth franchise.
The antagonist in the Dhoom series has always garnered more attention than any other character. After playing a villain for the first time on screen, Aamir must have definitely inspired Sallu bhai to give it a shot too.
Before Aamir, Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham had played the antagonists in the second and first Dhoom movies respectively.

Salman bends rules for Kamaal Amrohi's grandson

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will take time off for city tours with "O Teri" cast that includes Pulkit Samrat and debutant Bilal Amrohi, grandson of legendary filmmaker Kamaal Amrohi.
"O Teri" is made by Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and in this endeavour to support the newcomers, Salman would be shuffling around with his shooting schedules for Sajid Nadiadwala's "Kick" and various other commitments.

Salman is currently shooting for "Kick" in Delhi and Bilal said: "Salman bhai is in Delhi right now. He has asked Pulkit and I to join him there, so he can promote the film with us. Bhai would be accompanying us on various city tours."

Bilal admits Salman has never gone so out of his way for any film before. "But then he is more than family to us. The Amrohis are very close to Salman bhai and his family."

Salman's father writer Salim Khan was very close to Kamal Amrohi and Bilal's father Tajdar Amrohi.

Bilal confesses he is closer to Salman's brother-in-law than to Salman.
"I call Alvira Khan (Salman's sister and Atul Agnihotri's wife) 'Baby Maa'. I feel I have three mothers. My biological mother, then my uncle Shaandar's wife who has brought me up likes her own child and Baby Maa. I am blessed, I guess," he said.

It was to get away from all this triple-layered mothering that Bilal took a six-month acting course in Los Angeles.

"I deliberately chose a city where I had no family and friends, to learn acting. I was on my own in LA for six months. That helped me to grow up," said Bilal who admits "O Teri" first went to his co-star Pulkit, who is Salman's raakhi-sister's fiance.
Bilal can't wait to see how audiences react to the film.
"Pulkit and I play two squabbling Tom and Jerry type YV journalists. We start off as bumbling fools and end up as reluctant heroes. I couldn't have asked for a better launch and I couldn't have hoped for better producers to launch me. Salman and his family are like a second family to me," he said.

Manish Paul quits Sunil Grover's Mad In India

We all thought the show will be an instant hit considering Guthi was being missed on Comedy Nights With Kapil. But surprisingly, TRPs for Sunil Grover's Mad In India didn't quite pick up.

Sunil Grover who is known for his comic timings and impromptu dance moves was loved by the viwers but he  failed to create a stir with the new show. Also the host, Manish Paul failed to garner enough attention from his fans.
And the result already is, that the host Manish Paul has quit Mad In India. According to a source in a leading daily, "Manish wasn't happy with the way the scripts were working out and that's why he has planned to move out.
But if the buzz is to be believed, producers wanted more airtime with Chutki aka Sunil Grover alone since the hour long show had Manish Paul in the first half and Sunil on the second. And after recieving mixed reviews to the show, the makers added more of Chutki to improve ratings.
While Manish claims he has film projects in his kitty, the crew says he was anyways being replaced.

Tanishaa's birthday surprise for Armaan, takes him to Dubai

Just when you thought, Kushal-Gauhar are the only couple in love surviving outside the Bigg Boss 8 house, then let us surprise you with another couple who are heading strong, outside the house. Yes we are talking about, none other than, Armaan Kohli and Tanishaa.

After a fancy new year celebration in Goa, Tanisha decided to go one notch higher for Armaan Kohli's birthday which was on March 23 this year. The 'Neal and Nikki' actor planned a rather expensive surprise birthday for Armaan and took him to all the way to Dubai.
According to a leading daily, "Early on Saturday, Tanishaa landed up at Armaan's place and told him to pack for Dubai. Initially he thought it was a joke but she had come armed with two tickets to the most expensive city in the Middle East. She had planned the trip to coincide with Armaan's birthday."
That's not all, when the love birds arrived in Dubai, they were taken in a limousine to Faysal Ali Zarooni's palatial mansion.
Well, we must say, Armaan is one lucky man. No room for his temper here!

Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif say no to period film

Bollywood beauties Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, who tasted success this year with commercial films like Chennai Express, Ram-leela, and Dhoom: 3, have reportedly turned down Ashutosh Gowarikar's period film Mohenjo-daro.
A leading tabloid reports that Deepika has apparently said no to director Ashutosh Gowarikar's upcoming film. The tabloid also reported a source as saying, "Deepika is busy shooting for films she has already signed, including Happy New Year, Shuddhi, and Window Seat. She doesn't have any dates for the next two years and thus had to turn down a role in Ashutosh Gowarikar's film, Mohenjo-daro."

Though reports suggest that Gowarikar was keen on signing Deepika for the film as she is a popular choice among filmmakers now.

It is also being said that Gowarikar had approached actress Katrina Kaif for the same role but she too said no to him on account of a packed schedule.

Salman Khan to play double role in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

Superstar Salman Khan will be seen in a double role in Sooraj Barjatya's film 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'.
The actor, who will be teaming with Sooraj Barjatya after almost 15 years, will be seen playing the characters of Prem and Vijay in the film.
In his earlier three films with Barjatya - 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun', 'Hum Saath-Saath Hain' - Salman's on-screen name was 'Prem'.

"Salman will be playing double role in the film. We have had Dilip Kumar play double role in 'Ram Aur Shyam', Salman in 'Judwa', both the characters were positive. There will be difference between the two characters but none of them is negative, both the roles are positive. He will be playing entertaining characters," a source told PTI, without divulging any details.
The film will have Sonam Kapoor opposite Salman. The two are coming together again after 'Saawariya'.
"Neil Nitin Mukesh will be playing Salman's brother, Swara Bhaskar his sister and Deepak Dobriyal will be his friend. Sanjay Mishra and Anupam Kher too will be seen in the film in interesting roles," the source said.
The film's music will be composed by Himesh Reshammiya. The shooting will start from June this year and the film is set for Diwali 2015 release.

Deepika Padukone leaves Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film for Karan Johar

Actor Deepika Padukone is currently a hot favourite among almost all the directors. From Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Imtiaz Ali to Karan Malhotra, everyone wants to cast her in their films.
And that has put Deepika in the tight spot as her packed schedule is not allowing her to accept all the interesting offers coming her way.
According to reports,  Deepika Padukone will no be doing Bhansali's film, 'Bajirao Mastani' as she has given her dates to Karan Johar's film, 'Shuddhi', which is slated to go on the floors by the end of this year.

"The dates Bhansali wanted from Deepika have been allotted to Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi'. This is why the actress is not in a position to play Mastani in the former's film," a leading tabloid quoted its source.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is reportedly keen on doing Bhansali's film now. There is a buzz that Ajay Devgn may play Bajirao in the film and Kareena has expressed her desire to play Mastani. Priyanka Chopra will play Bajirao's wife, Kashibai.
Well, the final cast of the film will be known after the formal announcement till then keep guessing.

Humshakals first motion poster launched during India Vs Pak match!

After a very long wait, Sajid Khan has released the first motion poster of his forthcoming masala entertainer – Humshakals. The poster of the film promises nine times the fun. Wondering why? Well, the three lead actors of the film Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor will be seen doing triple roles in the movie.
What surprised us is that none of teh leading ladies – Bipasha Basu, Tamannah Bhatia and Esha Gupta were no where to be seen. Humshakals is co-produced by Fox Star Studios and Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment and will release on June 20.
After watching this motion poster, we simply can’t wait to watch the trailer of the film. What about you guys?

Bachchans Family purchased a new bungalow for Aaradhya’s fun time?

Just a few days back, the Bachchans acquired their fifth bungalow. It’s right behind their current residence, Jalsa. We have also heard that the Bachchans are very keen on making a lawn in the newly acquired space.
Bachchans hosted famous Holi parties at their earlier residence Prateeksha. However, Jalsa doesn’t have a big open space. The idea to have a well-manicured lawn on their new bungalow premises has a dual purpose. This means that the adults will have some much needed breathing space while Aaradhya will have her own personal space to play in.
Currently, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan takes Aaradhya over to the garden at Prateeksha when the tot wants to run around. Unfortunately, there is a high-rise overlooking the Prateeksha lawn and some of their privacy is compromised. When the lawn comes into being at their new bungalow, the Bachchans will have a secure open space. No one can get a view of it because the only ones who can peep in are those staying at Jalsa, which is directly behind.

After Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh roped in for Karan Johar’s Shuddhi?

After Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh roped in for Karan Johar’s Shuddhi?

Roshan Jr’s health issues and professional commitments had delayed Shuddhi, so much that the film had a complete makeover

Deepika Padukone stepped into Kareena Kapoor Khan role in Shuddhi after the latter opted out of the film. Now we hear Deepika’s alleged beau Ranveer Singh has been roped in to play the part that was to be originally portrayed by Hrithik Roshan. This is after reports suggested that Hrithik might just be back on the movie that he had politely turned down after much delay. Looks like we will get to watch theGoliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela jodi back onscreen together soon. HR’s loss has certainly proved to be Mr Singh’s gain, however we wonder if Dippy would have been happier to share screen space with Hrithik.
Remember not so long ago Ms Padukone had a wishlist of heroes she wants to work with that included names of Salman Khan (her current favourite c0-star Shahrukh Khan’s arch rival), Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan and of course the original hero of Shuddhi – Hrithik Roshan. With Roshan opting out of the film and boyfriend Ranveer playing this part, wethinks this might just be a bitter sweet moment for the leggy lass. While her dream to work with HR is yet to come true, we’re sure she wouldn’t mind some fun and quality time with her BF on the sets of their movie. Also considering that Padukone gal was willing to turn assistant director to Zoya Akhtar for her next film with Ranveer, KJo’s offer might just help the busy lovers spend some time with each other, hai na?
With one hit film under their belt looks like this new hit jodi of B-town might bag another movie together. Going by the current buzz Ranveer – Deepika might be cast as the lead pair in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next Bajirao Mastani. Not to forget, the duo will be sharing screen space in Homi Adajania’s Finding Fanny Fernandes.
While we are happy to see the reel life lovers together on reel, BollywoodLifers you tell us – do you think Ranveer Singh is the perfect replacement for Hrithik Roshan in Shuddhi?

Post Queen success, Kangana Ranaut hikes her fees

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut seems to be flying high after garnering rave reviews for her performance in the widely acclaimed film Queen.
Kangana should infact thank director Vikas Bahl for giving her such a good platform to relaunch her stagnant career, since Kangana has now become a sought-after name by many top directors in the industry as well as advertisers.

What follows next is not a surprise as reports suggest that the actor has now decided to hike her price.

According to a souce close to a leading daily, Kangana has apprently charged somewhere between Rs.3.5-4 crore for Sujoy Ghosh's film which she signed after actor Vidya Balan walked out of it.

Priyanka Chopra to join Bajirao Mastani cast

After a number of names being tossed around about the lead cast of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much awaited project 'Bajirao Mastani', now comes the time to cast Bajirao's wife Kashibai. And guess what, it is none other than Priyanka Chopra who has topped the list this time.

Speculations have been rife for some time about who is to essay the role of Bajirao in Sanjay's ambitious project, with names such as Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh doing the rounds.

While Deepika Padukone might play the role of Mastani, the name of Priyanka Chopra has emerged as a contender to play Bajirao's wife Kashibai.
According to a leading daily, Priyanka has apparently bagged the role of Kashibai, Bajirao's first wife.

Deepika Padukone replaces Kareena Kapoor Khan in Karan Johar’s Shuddhi

Deepika Padukone replaces Kareena Kapoor Khan in Karan Johar’s Shuddhi

Deepika Padukone has replaced Kareena Kapoor Khan as the heroine in
Shuddhi. This is not first time that Padukone gal has stepped into Bebo’s shoes in a movie. Apparently Karan Johar is keeping this news under wraps, now wethinks this is wise decision considering  Kareena’s successful stint with Dharma Productions has hit all time low. Kareena was left huffing and puffing when one of the most awaited film of hers was delayed innumerable times thanks to Hrithik Roshan’s health at first and followed by work commitments. With the recent development we’re sure that Ms Kapoor Khan will turn green with envy. The war between the once number one heroine and the current Bollywood queen is taking interesting twists and turns

Apparently Hrithik had informed Kareena in advance about his exit from KJo‘s movie, Roshan Jr chose to work with Katrina Kaif in Bang Bang over reuniting with Kareena on screen after a decade. While both Johar and Karan Malhotra made announcements initially stating that the Agent Vinod heroine would remain an integral part of the film, Johar later did reveal that he couldn’t ask Kapoor gal to wait for his movie to start forever. What followed was unexpected for KKK, whose films with Farhan Akhtar Bombay Samurai was shelved.
Kareena had lost out on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and now we hear that once a frontrunner to play SLB’s Mastani in his film Bajirao Mastani, Kareena is no longer in the race. And if buzz is to be believed then Deepika might oust Bebo and become the heroine in

Sunny Leone starrer Ragini MMS 2 to open with Hanuman Chalisa

The makers of actress Sunny Leone starrer 'Ragini MMS 2' have decided to open the film credits with montages of Hanuman Chalisa. Previously too, 'Ragini MMS' (2011) contained the prayer revealing producer Ekta Kapoor's superstitious side.
Ekta believes that the incorporation of the prayer has been lucky and will ward off any unwanted negativity against the film given its horrex (horror and sex) genre, sources said.

The film will begin with a special montage of scenes from the original cut to the auspicious Hanuman Chalisa, sources added.
Directed by Bhushan Patel, the film also stars Sandhya Mridul, Parveen Dabas, Saahil Prem and Divya Dutta. It releases tomorrow, on March 21.

Meera Chopra: I am close to Priyanka Chopra, but not to Parineeti Chopra

Gang of Ghosts

In a candid chat Meera tells about why she wouldn’t do any more south films and also talks about her equation with cousins – Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. Excerpts from the interview…

After doing about 15 south films, Meera Chopra is all set to enter the Hindi film industry with this week’s release Gang Of Ghosts. We met her at the Venus Films office where she opened her heart out to us.
Your upcoming film Gang Of Ghosts is a remake of a Bengali film Bhooter Bhobishyot. Have you seen the original film?
Not completely. I have seen the film in parts. But I have many friends who have seen the film and they have told me that it is a fantastic film. I recently visited Kolkata and then only I came to know how much people respect that film there. The film has attained cult status there and people absolutely love the film. I am happy to be part of such a hugely respected film.
You are playing the role which was originally played by Mumtaz Sorcar. Can you tell us the kind of changes done to your character to suit the Hindi audience?
I guess Satish Kaushik, the director, has given me more songs and he has extended my role a bit. Actually when I took up this role, I had a slight apprehension that the role was very small as I was also doing 1920, where I had a solo lead. So keeping that in mind, Satishji decided to extend the screen space and give me more songs. Otherwise the soul of the character is the same.
We know that you were working for NDTV, so how did you end up in films?
After completing my education in US, I was working in Delhi for NDTV, that’s when I got an offer for a Tamil film. I did that and it became a hit. Suddenly I was flooded with other south film offers. I kept on signing one after the other and did almost 15 films in a span of three years.
How different is the work culture in Bollywood than it is down South?
I can’t compare both of them at all. Bollywood is evolving now and South still has a long way before it reaches there. In South films, there is a protocol, that you have been asked to do it this way and you are supposed to do it that way only. You can’t do a lot of improvisations, whereas Bollywood is much more flexible. I got frustrated after doing those 15 south films as everything was almost typical, whereas in Bollywood I have a lot of scope to grow as an actor. Everything about south films is bad. And working in a Bollywood film came as a welcome breather.
We have seen a pattern. Every heroine nowadays prefers doing South films first and then come to Bollywood. Why did you also choose the same path?
Look, I did a South film first because it came to me. I was not trying for it. If a Hindi director had come to me with a film I would have done that first and I would have done my debut with Bollywood films. The South director saw my picture in some magazine and got in touch with me and asked me to come down to Chennai and meet them for the role in the film. I went there and I came to know that it was a big budget film which had a superhit hero playing the main lead and it had AR Rahman’s music, so I figured out that there was no point in saying no to this film. Thus I did it. Every movie I did in South I always used to say that this is my last film here but it didn’t happen as I continued getting tempting offers. After three years, I was fed up and came to Mumbai and got this film.
Is Gang Of Ghosts a perfect launch vehicle for you as it has ensemble cast?
Actually yes! I although signed Vikram Bhatt’s 1920 first but it is yet to release and this film got completed before. I feel whatever happens, happens for good only. If it is an ensemble cast then the good part is that I don’t have the full burden of the film’s success on my shoulders. Thus it is a perfect launch as I don’t have all the responsibility of making the movie a hit.
Tell us about your equation with your cousins Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra…
Look, media has been writing a lot about this but most of it is not true. I share a comfortable relationship with Priyanka but I am not that close to her that I just pick up the call and say “Hey wassup”. For me Priyanka has always been a superstar much more than my sister. For me family comes as an added bonus. She has always been supportive of my work. She has seen many of my South films and called me up to congratulate and she did the same with Gang Of Ghosts. In my initial days in Mumbai I used to get baffled with all these reports about our relationship coming up. She gave me a very good learning when she said that don’t get baffled by media in Mumbai because that is one thing you can’t stop. They will write what they want and you just have to learn to ignore and live with it. I never needed to do a public display of my relationship with her and still it is the same.
…and is your equation the same with Parineeti?
No. There is absolutely no equation with her. I have always been closer to Priyanka and have never been that close to Parineeti.
How is your equation with director Satish Kaushik?
Satishji is a great human being. I remember when I came to him he had said that the role was not that big. He promised that he would make the necessary changes and make my role come out livelier. And to be honest he kept every promise of his. Working with him was stress-free and I absolutely love him as a director, as a mentor and as a human being.
The movie is all about ghosts. Do you believe in ghosts?
No. I don’t believe in ghosts at all. I have never seen them and thus wouldn’t believe. The day I see some ghosts I would definitely believe that they exist. I really really want to see some ghosts!
The tag line of the film says “Bhootiyapanti” which suggests some comic funny incidents. Do you have any such funny incidents from during the shoot of the film?
To be honest I did not get to know when the movie got shot and it got over. Everybody was doing pagalpanti on the sets. I have never done a film where everybody is crazy and is doing some or the other pagalpanti. It was a great working experience with actors who are so great in doing comedy that it comes naturally to them, and you wouldn’t get to know that they are acting.
What other future projects do you have?

I am doing Vikram Bhatt’s 1920 and nothing else for the time being. I want Gang Of Ghosts to release and after seeing its response I would want to sign another film. If it’s a big hit then obviously I will get better projects. Thus I want to wait and watch for now.

My sexy image is a marketing strategy: Sunny Leone

Looking pretty in an anarkali suit, while on a tour to Lucknow to promote her latest film 'Ragini MMS 2', Sunny Leone came across as a simple, down to earth actress. Ask her why she chose to wear a full-sleeved anarkali suit, ditching her sexy avatar, and Sunny says, "It's nothing to do with Lucknow or the people here. You all are great. For the city tours I pick things a little different. You know, when sometimes you're shooting for TV, it doesn't always look good when you're fully covered; Western outfits look better on TV. Even otherwise I love Indian suits. Sometimes, the sari gets a bit cumbersome because of the 50 pins you have to put here and there, to hold it together. But I love it. Saris make me look really beautiful. And since I live in the US where you don't see much Indian clothing like saris and anarkalis or Indian suits, so for me this (dressing up) is fun."

I credit Bigg Boss for my popularity
Sunny, better known as an adult film actor and producer, was first introduced to Indians as a contestant on the controversial show Bigg Boss Season 5 in 2011, and she credits the show for making her popular in India. "If it wasn't for Bigg Boss, I wouldn't have been known by Indians in the same manner. I think it was the greatest platform through which I could have made an entry into Bollywood. Because I was in every body's living rooms for six weeks straight at 10 o'- clock every night. They could see how I could make non-round chapaatis and cutting sabzi and doing all the housework and they just got to know my personality. I think that helped a lot with my entering into Bollywood. Because if I had come here just as Sunny and not through Bigg Boss, I think I wouldn't have accomplished what I have in such a short time."

I'm a Punjabi and we love our food
The mention of cooking makes us wonder if Sunny is the cooking at home types after she's done with work and is at home? "I cook a lot. Actually I cook all the unhealthy food at home. My husband Daniel is the one who does all the healthy cooking. I like all the comfort foods. I'm a Punjabi and we love our food! But with Daniel around it's as if I have the food FBI behind me telling me what not to eat because I have to remain in shape and diet and work out. But as actors we have too remain slender and perhaps not look normal at times just to look attractive and suffer in return," she adds with a sigh.

Daniel wants a baby girl
The question of the couple's plans to extend their family is met with a little trepidation by Daniel, who wonders why everyone asks them that question. But Sunny answers it easily and says, "We definitely want to have children at some point. Danny wants a little baby girl and I want the baby to be just healthy, whether it's a boy or a girl. But I don't know when that will be, hopefully it will be soon. Right now I don't think I can replace what's going on in my life, so you never know. I might just leave and come back with a baby one day. I might just scream 'I had a baby and nobody knew!" says she laughing out loud.

I am human after all
But even as Sunny discusses food and parenthood, she cannot shrug off the image of an adult film star. Recently singer Arijit Singh had said he was not happy with his song Kabhi Jo Badal Barse from Jackpot being picturised on Sunny. A religious outfit had also banned her entry in Indore, prohibiting her to promote her film in the city. Sunny, on her part says she is not immune to such negative news. "I don't think I believe all of these rumours because if he (Arijit) didn't want me to be featured in the song, or if he didn't know about it, why did he sing that song in Jackpot? He wouldn't have sold the song to the producers if he knew I was in it, to begin with. I mean he did sing it and he did sell it," she rationalises, and goes on to say, "I am human after all. When you hear such things it hurts. But I pick up some logic in my mind as to why people say what they do. And there's a lot that's said which isn't true, so I try not to take it to heart. I tell all my family and friends not to send me any negative articles. I ask them to send me all positive ones and I'll read that. It's easier that way."

She further adds, "It's like you're passing the traffic lights and feel people's eyeballs on you but it's fine. I understand why they are looking. So, I don't hold anything to heart and get after somebody, that why did you write this or why are you staring? It is what it is and you can't do anything about it. I guess it is better that they are writing something about you than not writing about you at all! Also hopefully one by one, day by day, each reporter I talk to, the truth about me will emerge and people will know me as I am."

The sexy image is a marketing strategy
But is she OK with how her image of an adult film star is often exploited in Bollywood? "Yes, it's a strategy that has been created for the films. But when people watch the movie Ragini MMS 2, a lot of myths will be busted. It's not just sex in the film, in fact that's a very small portion of the movie. In this film they will see my acting and their minds will hopefully be changed. When people watch me in the film in totality, then probably they will judge me based on my acting skills rather than anything else."

Sunny is now two-years-old in the industry, with Ragini MMS 2 being her third film. In all her films, she has been projected as a bold and sexy woman. But she says, that with each film offer, the perception of people in Bollywood is changing and the films that she is now being offered are more acting oriented. "I think I have more people that like me than those who don't like me. As for perceptions, I have no idea how they perceive me. I get a lot of different movie offers all the time. Even today I was reading two films' synopsis in the car..."

Sunny adds, "But what I have learned over the last two years is that it's more than just picking something based on the story or the producer or the actors. It's like a whole circle here, where your success depends on so many things. While it's completely opposite in the US. There, the actors work because they want to work. Take for instance someone like Brad Pitt who makes an independent film, which doesn't even get released in theatres, yet he is so successful and not bogged down by film offers and work. He works when he wants to. That's with all actors there. And that's all they want to do. They can make an art film, an independent film or a huge commercial hit and nobody would care."

Film production is the natural progression for my husband and me
Sunny doesn't deny the possibility of turning producer of Hindi films in future. "That's a natural progression for my husband and I. I've had my own business since I was 18 and he's got his own business since he was out of university as well, so it's a natural thing for us to do. He does say we should make a movie here and I say hold on! I think we should learn every in and out of this industry. I think we should first learn the distribution, the marketing, the finance side of production, before we step into it. Because we don't want to make a movie just to make one, we want it to be a success and make money on it. That's why producers invest money in films, to make money from it. It's a business and I want to do well in it too."

Talking about her other projects Sunny tells us, "I have Tina And Lolo releasing this year and another very interesting project that I can't tell you the name of, but it's the story of two women on the run. I play one of them. It's a nice role with comedy, action, drama, basically the whole trappings of a typical Bollywood film. So this is going to be a busy and exciting year for me.

Varun Dhawan hot locks lips in 'Main Tera Hero'

In his second film itself, young actor Varun Dhawan has scored his first lip lock.
He will be seen kissing actress Ileana D'cruz in the forthcoming film "Main Tera Hero".

In the movie, directed by his father David Dhawan, "Student Of The Year" actor Varun has worked up a great chemistry with his two leading ladies - Ileana and Nargis Fakhri.

Varun along with Ileana is set to get the temperatures soaring with his first onscreen kiss in the masala entertainer, said a source.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the movie is releasing April 4.

Kajol said Ranbir Kapoor is a better actor than Shah Rukh Khan

Actress Kajol, who has given several hit films in company of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, thinks Ranbir Kapoor scores higher than her long-time good friend and also Aamir Khan in terms of acting capabilities.
In an upcoming episode of Koffee with Karan, the host, filmmaker Karan Johar, asks Kajol to rank - talent and acting ability wise - Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, Aamir, Ranbir and Hrithik in order of preference.
The Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actress was quick to crown Ranbir, the junior-most among them, as No 1, though the two have not yet shared screen space.

"On the top I would say Ranbir, I think he is fantastic. On second position Shah Rukh and Aamir are on par with each other, there is no up or down in that. Then we come to Salman and so on."

To another question, Kajol said she would like to ask Shah Rukh about his frankness in airing his views.
"Why are you so candid all the time? Don't you know people like to hear nice, pretty lies once in a while, "she quipped.
From her cousin-actress Rani Mukherji, Kajol wants to know when the Bunty Aur Babli star is getting married, a query she would pose to producer-director Aditya Chopra too.
Reports of Rani-Aditya marriage had been doing the round since quite some time.
The 39-year-old Fanaa star yearns to spend more time with actor-husband Ajay Devgn. "I don't get enough time with him. I would really like to take him out for a romantic date."
Kajol, who dominated Bollywood in 1990s along with Madhuri Dixit, said she is extremely choosy about doing films. "It (the script) has to be good. I don't want to work with someone who is not going to bring out the best in me. I don't want to work with somebody who is going to depend on me to do the 90 per cent of the work."
In the episode to be aired on March 16, the bubbly and outspoken actress will be seen with her director-cousin Ayan Mukherji.

Sonakshi Sinha upset about going unrecognised

Sonakshi Sinha upset about going unrecognised

We all know make-up does wonders… especially when it comes to our B-town babes. Though they don’t mind the paparazzi going click click at airports and restaurants, a few of them get upset when they aren’t recognised without any make-up.The Lootera actor apparently wasn’t recognised when she was spotted in a de-glam avatar

If sources are to be believed, this happened with Sonakshi Sinha quite recently. Apparently Sona was entering the sets of a reality show in a casual avatar minus the make up. The security guard outside the sets of the show failed to recognize the Sinha babe. When the guard stopped her from going in, the R…Rajkumar actor apparently huffed, puffed and announced, ‘Hello, I’m Sonakshi Sinha.’ Her tone insinuated that if he hadn’t recognised her, he must be some fool.

Of course, after her this, several people rushed to give the Jr Shotgun her due. And after this ‘Oops!’ moment the poor security guard got a dressing down, we hear. As for Shahid Kapoor’s alleged lady love, when asked about the incident, she brushed it off as a ‘silly rumour’!
